One-week charters on the Sea of Cortez—
SATURDAY – board after 6:00 p.m. If you desire you may sleep aboard for free. We can pick you up at the La Paz airport or bus station without charge and
take you directly to the sailboat. Provision right away, or go out to one of our great restaurants. Right next to the dock is an excellent fish restaurant.
SUNDAY – your charter officially begins. We recommend you have breakfast at a nearby restaurant—we’ll provide an orientation briefing before or during your meal. We’ll then take you to Chedraui, a large national supermarket, where you’ll find many US products, a great Deli section, a fresh Seafood section and a real butcher shop for custom cuts of prime beef. Remember: what you buy is what you“ll eat—aside from catching some fish, there is no place to eat or buy provisions once you leave La Paz.
When you are finished, take an inexpensive cab back to Seascape, where we’ll do a walk-through of the boat if you like.
CALETA PARTIDA – This island, between Espiritu Santo and Partida, is 23 miles away. It is important that you leave the dock at the latest by 1:30 p.m.
ESPIRITU SANTO – If you leave by 2:00 p.m., you can still make San Gabriel, its southernmost anchorage, which may be limited depending on the time of year.
FALSO – Leave no later than 3 p.m. You’ll find it about two hours away near the ferry docks, just outside of
